Here are pictures of the two basic types of brake chambers as they are mounted on my Freightliner. The large, 2 diaphragm chamber is the parking brake and requires reverse air pressure to release. The skinny one is a basic one line brake chamber. Most commercial trucks have the parking chamber on only one drive axle and on both trailer axles. The parking brake has a heavy spring which activates the brakes when no air pressure is present. If you look closely, you can see an extra bolt mounted to the side between the chamber clamps. This is the bolt used to "cage" the brakes. I hope this helps.
