Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
OK, here we go. This disc brake kit was sold a year ago and installed by customer. 15" 2 1/2 ton rotors, f550 calipers front and rear - all bolt on.
A few more pic's. Or how about hydraulic assist, tie rod elimination.Well, this is really getting better, waiting for more details.
Thank you.

No, I am asking if you can get the disc brake set-up for the rockwell's with different lug count. Say for instance in an 8lug set up. That would allow bobbed deuce owners to get aftermarket 20" rims and run something like boggers or whatever. You are asking about the m715, dana 70 front and rear?
No 8 lug ( 8 on 6.5" BP ), I do not want to take a 2 1/2 ton axle and neck it down to 1 ton at the wheel. Alot of different companys make 15", 16", wheels to fit this setup. No, I am asking if you can get the disc brake set-up for the rockwell's with different lug count. Yes, If I can manage to keep my M715, (wife wants is sold) I would love to put some rockwells under it and lose the heavy drums and run something like superswampers.
Yes with the hub out, can not do bolt on with hub in.Really nice work Steve
Do you still offer the rear bolt on caliper bracket which uses the existing rivet holes?
I have both axle housings stripped bare...I guess I'll cut the rivets tomorrow on the stock brake backing plates because I kinda like that bolt on setupYes with the hub out, can not do it with hub in.
You can use a torch to cut the revit heads off on the inside of the backing plate. I use a punch and 4 lbs. hammer and drive them out.I have both axle housings stripped bare...I guess I'll cut the rivets tomorrow on the stock brake backing plates because I kinda like that bolt on setup
What bolt patteren on the wheel? Hemmit i thought was 10 lug -10 on 11.25 BP.I'll second the 8 lug!!
Sorry what I would like would to be able to run HEMMIT rims with out modification to them.
I like here, the pirate board has too many morons.Steve G, good to see you finally made it over here.
Bob, an old Pirate guy from way back.
Gerald, are you putting discs on a V-100? Now I'm curious!I have both axle housings stripped bare...I guess I'll cut the rivets tomorrow on the stock brake backing plates because I kinda like that bolt on setup
