Dual circuit master cylinder

Maybe this has been beat to death already, maybe not. I see master cylinders for sale with one line port and with two line ports, so I assume the dual port cylinder is for dual circuits-front and rear. While I'm bobbing the deuce I may as well go ahead and do this too. Is my assumption correct, and can anyone offer advice or experience?

There is a special master cylinder bracket used with the split mc. Also there is more to the system than just mounting a different master cylinder. There's a whole manual that shows how it's done and it won't be cheap.

Ok, I'm new to deuces, but not to brakes. The reason I am posting here is because I am not interested in the redundant military system. I'm looking for a safe modern design that will not maybe be original, but will be safe. I've read the other posts, and the best one ended with the suggestion of just a dual circuit master cylinder. Withe the air assist acting as the booster, why won't a master cylinder change accommodate a split system, like it would on any other vehicle? Surely someone has done this...

I'm not interested in installing an A3 style system...

I believe there are 2 air-assist cylinders also. Correct?

The dual circuit MC needs a different mount bracket, and you need a separate air pack for the second circuit.

The air packs add pressure to the fluid directly, instead of boosting the pressure on the MC piston as vacuum or hyrdoboost systems do.

So, adapter bracket, extra air pack, new MC and all of the tubing to split the fluid and the air.

Correct me if I'm forgetting anything.

This has been beat to death, but since you are a new guy, we will make sure the boiling oil we dip you in is synthetic so it won't hurt as much.
