I won 2 auctions for brake shoes from e-bay seller Delewarelister both sets came damaged. He offers 7day refund and charges shipping for zone 8 with a refund if closer . Having won the second auction before the first order arived ( super slow shipping ) i contacted him about the damaged shoe in fist order he said he would add it to the other order and didn'twant the damaged shoe back. Well 2weeks later when the second order came 3 of the 5 shoes where damage chipped near the rivets won't pass dot inspection . when contacted he refuses refund on shoes or over charge for shipping . His reply was you should be happy with what you got for the price you payed. AT this point i filed a paypal dispute and left neg feedback then he send s a threat to remove bad feedback which was reported to e-bay. Well alittle over a month later pay-pal ruled in my favor they are holdingthe money until shoes are returned they were shipped back to day . I felt this needed to be posted to prevent someone else from being ripped off by this guy as he intends to relist the shoes and sell them to someone who wants them and i could "pay more somewhere else " . I will be calling C & C on tuesday . Delewarelister is a dirtball in my opinion

I ordered what was labeled NOS military headphone/mic and received NOS headphones only. Went through the routine and received used headphone/mic setups. delewarelister never again will see a penny of my money.

I've bought from them on two seperate occasions and got the stuff quickly and as described. Guess I was a lucky one. I have been ripped off by several sellers on eBay, just not this one. Thanks for the heads up and I'll definetly stop buying from them while I'm ahead!

On a side note porky, where do you get your DOT inspection that they pull the brake drums? Or did I misunderstand? 12 years of annual inspections on my service trucks and they haven't so much as pulled off a wheel.

it might just be the mechanic we use but he goes through everything fleet machanic for a large trucking co. does them on the side but chips in the lining by rivets crack between rivets when hot i was licensed in brakes for a long time myself we work mostly with gravel trains and concrete mixers and everyone thats been in a accident the motor carrier has came to the shop for a inspection keep in mind saginaw is the training district for state motor carriers so everything here is by the book ,the county sheriff even has motor carrier officers , saginaw city pd lost there funding but had them for quite awhile . with all the stone docks here its easy money for them . We had are 10yd tandem dump stopped last year with 4000# of broken concrete on which is about a 5 x20 piece of 4 inch concret that would fit on a pick-up and they got the protable scales out to check axel weight

I've had our friendly State police pull the scales out on me too. The boys in blue are everywhere lately. P.I.T.A.

I get my inspections done down by Detroit so it makes sense that they aren't doing a thorough job. blckdblnckl from here on SS(Jeff) will be doing mine from now on though.

there was chips about 1/4 inch deep v'd out near the rivets one looked like it got droped on a concrete floor the other 2 where from beating against each other in shipping had red primer from the cores in the chips he put 5 shoes in a box with nothing between them cardboard on top the n bubblewrap on top of the cardboard if he would have wraped the shoes they probabley would have been fine

It sucks but at least you didnt have to sue a guy for a BS truck I got on egay. Seems like he could have shipped when he got payment and taking 1.2 seconds to pack them right, doesnt take much to make somthing go right. -Jay

When ever I sell something that has to be shipped I wrap it like im sending my grandmothers fine china. And if its something that is expensive and/or can be easily damaged in shipping I take pictures of the packed item and the box once taped up. That way if the box gets there with obvious damage I have proof it didn't leave that way.

As Ben Franklin said "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

He sells for a guy named Bernie who has tons of MV stuff. I've had bad experience with him also and a long dragged out mess with a shipment that came without any brake shoes and instead speaker parts. He accused me of putting the stuff into the box and trying to screw him. That was after i've already spent about $1000 with the man. I wasn't too impressed.

I've made claims to USPS and UPS, we don't have a Fedex shipper and they have never ask what shape the box was in when it left, just the shape it was in when it arrived.
I shipped a M35 door glass and it was cracked during shipping, UPS never even looked at it, they just paid. Knocking on wood. Wayne
