I believe this is an early 40s GMC... Please confirm.

Also can anyone identify the size/type tires on this truck..

Look quite a bit larger than the stock duece tire.. Thanks..

That and the fact that it is 4x4 instead of 6X6 makes me think it's a chevy 1.5 ton. The rims are somebodies aftermarket and not the actual rims and tires of the wwII truck.

Cool I will have to look up a Chevy... and I realized the wheel and tires were not true to that vehicle but was wondering if anyone knew what they were off of. The tread appears to be a military type tire... was just curious.

Could be nothing more than a Chevy cab on a god-knows-what-frame.

All you can say from one pic is there appears to be Chevy sheet metal. Is it a G-506 series truck? Need more info.
