Edmond OK Parade of Lights Dec 6, 2014

That time of year again.

The City of Edmond is having their Annual Holiday Parade of Lights. Saturday Dec 6th at 6:45pm. We are already signed up for a dozen trucks.

The Oklahoma Convoy has been there the last three Parades. Last years parade was canceled due to bad weather.

Same schedule. Meet at WalMart at I-35 and 15th St at 5:00pm. Convoy to the staging area at 5:20pm. And the parade starts at 6:45.

Remember we need to decorate our trucks with alot of lights, Santa inflatables (remember family friendly) and maybe some music.

Just received our entry number.

We are Number 21 of 27

Right behind the Okie A's - Model A Ford Club and in front of the Oak Hills Church with vehicles and people walking.

It will be a fun time for them.

Weather is supposed to be clear and cold. Nothing like the ice and snow storm last year.

Do we need to bring our insurace proofs etc. Or has this been taken care of?

So how many trucks are we going to have? I certainly hope we have a few. Happy will not be making it this year so it looks like Ill be coming up alone. Looking forward to meeting some of the guys and seeing a few I already know.

The parade was great, and the turn out of people in the drizzle was tremendous. It was great seeing all the guys again, and looking forward to the next get together. I will post pics as soon as I get smart enough to do it on this thing.

I didn't take a single picture. I turned my phone over to the wife .

I was running an inverter on a spare battery for the lights. Santa and the lights pooped out about 3/4 thru the parade.

I want to thank Scopion and his wife for driving 90+ miles in the drizzle and fog to attend. Also M1075 and his father and Clepto and family for rounding out the convoy.
