Just got a M923A2 cargo truck. Apparently it was jump started at the base to load and the kill switch was used to turn it off. Tried to recove the batteries but something must be wrong because I heard a pop when we applied the jump pack to them. Looking for any inline fuse or circuit breaker. Read were the kill switch must be reset but can't find how to do it to restore fuel flow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If there's already posts please point the direction. Newby and just getting familiar with the site.

First, do you have the operators manual? A must to properly operate these vehicles. The "kill" switch is actual the emergency fuel shut off "t" handle on the dash, it is pure mechanical. Check that it is reseting at the injector pump, follow the cable.
The pop your heard is most likely a loose battery connection, You will need to separate your batteries, charge them independently, load test them, (mostly you have one or more batteries that are gone), if they load test good, reconnect, ensure all leads are tight, and try to start. Full 24 volts are required to keep the electric fuel solenoid operational. You have an A2 and there are several issues with these engines that accumulate with none use. Fuel delivery and retaining fuel prime are very common. It may take a little additional trouble shooting to get here running. Watch the duty cycle for the starter, don't burn it up.
Report back.

No power on M923A2

Need help. Tried to jump an M923A2 by using a 24v power pack. When we turned on the power to the pack we heard a pop. Now no power to the battery disconnect. No power anywhere. Also I was told they use the kill switch at the base when they loaded the truck to shut it off. Read the fuel must be reset after the kill switch is used but how? Thanks

Yes the piston retracts when we jump the starter. Have had to re prime several times. Now waiting to recharge power pack. Still trying to trace why we have no power to main battery switch.
