Engine Color HMMWV

Did GM use anything other than black for the 6.2 diesel on the HMMWV???

Specifically did they use GM Corporate Blue??? I have a ton of it and I have to replace Both cylinder heads on one of the beasts I purchased and though I would do a "DUPONT" rebuild on the bottom end...

I guess I can always buy some high temp gloss black from Caterpillar

I've never seen a blue one. Including the HMMWVs we received from rebuild/upgrades. every engine has been a crappy flat black/dark grey.

My question revolved around some 6.2 heads I got, they were what I thought was GM Corp Blue but come to find out the actual color was GM Diesel Green after some talking to a buddy that worked for
Detroit Diesel the military stuff / American General stuff was shipped from Detroit Diesel Black anything that was green was either a GM crate motor or in a GMC truck.

Would have been nice to have a blue motor (I have a crapload of that paint!)
