My flexplate will be replaced soon, new part laying in the garage. If I should happen to get to this before you do, I will share pictures. It does not seem difficult. I'm sure it wil be easier than the flywheel on the 6Speed z28 that I changed last.

This looks a lot like what I bought today but I'm still uncertain.

That is an easy fix. You do not need to pull the transmission out completely. Do you know where I am going with this? About 3-4 hours on the ground. Less with a lift.
