Does anyone have the torque specs for Rod & Main Bearings on an M35A2? Also, is it possible to R&R a crank, main & rod bearings out the bottom of the engine?

Thanks for any help

The rod caps should be first tightened to 66-67 ft-lb, then to 95-100 ft-lb. The mains caps should be first tightened to 80-90 ft-lb, and then to 115-120 ft-lb.

Of course you can R&R the bottom end with the engine in place... this is a deuce ;-)

Get yourself the TM-9-2815-210-34 manuals from the References section. Everything is there.
