I'd love to see the steps and the interior too! Looks great!
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Nice work! Are pinion brakes legal in your state? I thought most places they were not legal for road use.
Wow that's a good idea! I guess I never would have thought of adding one in addition to the stock brakes.Just added a rear pinion brake to the rear, for a little added stopping power, did have to also add a Wilwood proportioning valve. All 4 corners still have the factory braking system..
I wouldnt use that pinion brake on the street unless you want them to catch on fire, only on very slow trails or as a parking brake.Love that truck best one yet.Just added a rear pinion brake to the rear, for a little added stopping power, did have to also add a Wilwood proportioning valve. You are correct on the pinion brake, it will get extremely hot, a proportioning valve ( MUST BE ADDED ) and adjusted to 50%, to keep the system running cooler.. Nevermind, he already answered this one. Just a thought, you could use magnetic switches to actuate the steps like RVs do too, or just a plunger switch in the jam.Could you provide more information on the retractable steps please??????
Thanks.. ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands !!Ouch.....I`m not a fan of bobbing,,and even though I would never do that, I must admit the work looks very nice and well thought out. It kind of reminds me of the ZZ Top eliminator,,,, but only taller and greener.
