Hello I recently picked up an 87 m1028 m1010 hybrid it has 2 Factory holes on each of the Rockers which appear to be holes that would receive some kind of a step. Does anybody know what these holes are used for?

I have Never seen factory holes in the rocker panels or any CK series trucks. NEVR. What makes you think they are factory? I am open for your replies. Never is corrected if proven. I am an up fitter and we drill a lot of holes cut doors, roofs and entire cabs from trucks.

Thank you that makes sense because it does have Ziebart rustproofing in it and on the bed. That was one of my thoughts but coincidentally the way they were both spaced perfectly on both sides and where they were positioned it looked like it could be a place to receive some kind of a stepping device. That's why I asked. Thank you for the clarification.
