Ferret near Houston or Dallas???

Anyone have a Ferret near Houston or Dallas? I friend is looking to buy but wants to "see" one first. I will be happy to buy any takers a slab of dead cow for their time.

Justin, we had a Ferret show up at the Temple Air show a week or so ago. The owner isn't here on SS. 813RC might have the contact info for that guy in Waco.

There is also a guy near Bastrop that refurbishes Ferrets. Sermis has the contact info for that guy.

Your friend has the right idea about wanting to see one before he buys. Somebody our size would have a lot of trouble fitting in and driving one. Plus, the Rolls Royce gas engineis all that you have ever heard about British workman ship and reliability.

Justin, I will give him a shout and your phone number (assuming that is what is under your name??). His name is Wayne. Nice guy, and the Ferret is in great shape.

I believe he mentioned that having very long, skinny (but strong) arms with 14 joints would be handy when working on these!

Any info on the guy in Bastrop would be appreciated. My guy is ready to buy... our mutual friend just bought an M-114 and he can't stand it. We go pick up the 114 tomorrow. It will be a first recovery for the 5 ton ESP truck. Wish us luck.
