Thanks for the pictures! I don't think I have ever seen an M36 used as a fire truck before. I bet they try to avoid U-turns in that one.

We just put our A3 in service today but not in time to make the structure fire we were called out to. I was working on the truck and would have made it to the fire if I didn't have 3 tires that were almost flat after sitting for a few weeks (yes, the CTIS is already disabled). I'm already starting to dislike those 2 piece A3 wheels.

Somewhere I got this pic of another M36 doing Fire Service in Texas:

Maverick1701,
Did the bed on the A3 came from another Deuce? There are quite a few Deuces and 5-tons in use as brush fire trucks around here.

Thanks for sharing the pics the M series trucks just never seem to give up doing what they were designed to do! Last week on the front page of our newspaper they were showing TWO Deuces driving the streets of Minot ND looking for people to assist! Like I said the M series seems to NEVER say stop!

Great Pics! Our department has two 3/4 ton we use for brush fires; all the other departments in the area are trading them in for Ford 250's but I do not know why - the M37's will go any where and we don't get a talking to if we scatch the "new" truck!
