Microsoft has started to do things in their updates that change a jpeg to a jfif. There is a way to change it in the files and there is a program that does the fix for yoy. I don't like messing around in the files, so I just let the program do it.

This has happened for the last 3 updates. I fixed it twice, but another update was released and now the issue is back.

Is there a way that the site can be allowed to upload images as jfif?

If they are uploaded as that type of file, will that cause some computers to not be able to display the jfif uploaded images?

Hmm ... never heard of jfif.

So, looked it up. Read the NOTE a couple paragraphs into this link for the fix:

Yeah, I know how to do it through the registry, but I don't like to mess around in there. Things could get FUBAR if the incorrect change was made.
