I am talking to the manager of C&Js Bar-B-Q in downtown Bryan to see about getting their large room in the back for lunch on Saturday. They have a huge parking lot to accomodate all of our trucks. Let me know if you don't like this idea and we can try and come up with something else.

Not thread worthy yet but may 1 2010 is the wheelers for the wounded run in marble falls at hidden falls adventure park. which is a shorter drive for some of us. im sure a lot of the soldiers would like to go for a ride in some old military trucks.
That's not a good weekend, the Temple Air Show is that weekend and Lonestar-MVPA is FULLY involved in that show. If it was a different weekend we would be able to bring some cool stuff out...

I'm also arranging for a sheriff's escort from the campsite to the restaurant and back, plus he'll watch the trucks while we're inside to make sure no one messes with them.

It is pretty easy for you Scott. Take 21 to the old Bryan AF base which is now called the Texas A&M Riverside campus where you will take Texas 47 South. The park is about 5 miles from there on the right or West side of the road. If you go over an over pass, Villa Maria, you went about 200 yards too far. Here is the website for the place:
