Can anyone recommend a good and inexpensive drive shaft yoke puller or something that worked well in its place? I purchased a tiger tool u-joint puller, but don't have anything to pull the yoke off the spine.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
while hope no one is ever in bad situation needing to pull that on side of road or trail. If so though maybe a chain binder and breaker bar.. or you own winch up front orr??? could serve the same purposeLate to the party but chain hoist. No joke. Put it through the yoke eyelets and wrap it around the other axle. Pull it tight then one firm yank and it will come free (assuming you've removed the nut holding it in place already). I learned this from an old trucker and have been successful for the last 6 years doing it.
