Mine came with the metal grill but I could tell the air force had replaced the old one because it was just the original flat green paint with no camo black and brown paint.
They didn't transfer the stewart & badge over to it and after months of failed attempts getting my hands on one I decided to weld and fill the indent.

I met with a composite fabricator yesterday who is willing to do a limited run in hand laid Fiberlass for a good price.
Anyone here willing to let him borrow an existing metal 'Shark Grille' to make a lay-up mold? He is in Sparks, Nevada..

What is Pro and Con's of the plastic ones? Not used or worked on my truck enough to have an opinion yet so am curious.

Plastic ones are first gen they are junk. Fiberglass ones are good and they are repairable by most body shops. Metal ones are the a1 style.

Mine is jacked.. I just got this and it is busted. I need something to replace it with. It is a nasty hole.
