Fording Kit Update

What do you do about the alternator?

Thanks
I'm planning on upgrading to either a dual-output alternator, or dual alternators. In either case, I don't think that's much of a problem. Fan belt tension is a bigger concern. Don't laugh, but eventually I'll get around to designing/mounting some kind of linear actuator, so I can loosen the accessory belts from the driver's seat. I am building a fording kit for Mah Deuce that should allow me to hit the water without having to get out of the truck. No particular reason why. Just sounds cool.

I know this thread is old but to bring it to live how well did your fording kit and your ball valve do, has anyone else done this to their 6x6 to see how well it works.

I just ran mine up to the intake like the manual specifies, but I added a "T" fitting to let it drain out when not in use. (just have to remember to close the valve before using).
