Found New Armored Windshields

These are hard to find but I finally found some new armored windshields. I picked these up Thursday. Brand new ones for driver and passenger side. If anyone needs them, there are some more out there.

On another HUMMER network website there is a guy selling heated bulletproof, new.

I'm hoping to flying projectiles for the time being, BUT heated sounds nice for Winter.

I drove to Fort Hood yesterday and got these two. There were several there including side windows but they must be going out fast as I only see one left today. I will post the NSN's for driver and passenger side if anyone needs them.

A few weeks ago when I was at Red River, I saw several of those but they were not available when we got an M1114. I think there are several on here that are owners and LESO.

All that ballistic glass is side specific .

As stated above, they are side specific and some improvements were made in the design too. I will post some pics of the retaining armor that needs some modifications to make the new style fit the older ones. I don't know what the auction price is but ours showed a military costs of @$535 if I remember. According to the glass installer, he can also install replacement ballistic glass in old frames.

For those of you looking for new ballistic windshields, the later ones designed for the M1151 LPV will fit in the older M1114 UAH. The armored retaining hardware just has to be trimmed a little. We had someone trim the armored retaining hardware with a waterjet cutter and it turned out really nice. The real deal NOS older ballistic windshields are very hard if not impossible to find but the newer ones are out there.

There was one more brand new one in the crate for an M1151 but I dont recall if it was for right or left side. They went really fast.

just curious what the cost/ value and availability is for the early 2nd gen 3/4" ? windshields are nowadays?

I had no luck searching for M1114 ballistic windshields in the system so we had to get the newer ones. I would imagine anything older would be non-existent. Cost is zero of course for LESO users.

Do you know if these ballistic windshields will fit in the ibis tek emergency egress ballistic frames. The glass has delaminated and I am looking for glass replacement options
