Four wheel flatbed

Was looking in some scrap piles at some local shops today and stumbled across a flat top four wheel trailer with rows and rows of tiedown points that fold away into the floor. The two front wheels are steer tires that are steered by the pintle hitch. I noticed that it is a five lug bolt pattern with what looked like 3/4" lug nuts. It also has another pintle hitch on the back so you could tow another trailer behind it. I was unable to locate a single data plate on it save for one by the surge brake cylinder on the hitch and it is faded completely silver and unreadable. It is missing all the tires, several of the hold downs have been removed, and is half sunk into the mud and grown up in brush. Someone please give me an idea what this thing is and the approximate value I want to save this thing from going to scrap if it is worth saving. Oh, it has round tail lights too. I think six or eight screws holding the lenses on.

Believe me man... If I could take pics with this P.O.S IPhone and just post them here without a bunch of pain in the neck I would have all kinds of pictures posted up all the time.

Not yet. I'm not ready yet. Its not that I can't figure out how to post them, they just post upside down unless I email them to myself, open them on my laptop, download them into their own file, flip them over, then post them on here from the laptop.

You said, 3/4" lug nuts... Did you mean 3/4" lug studs. That would be the 5 hole Buds that fit the M37. The round tail lights put it back there a ways too. They recently sold some in Victorville. Don't remember what they are called. Its for high mobility. I don't place the surge brake part though.

Turn the camera upside down then!
OR
Get a program called PAINT SHOP PRO. It has very easy
to use commands to rotate pics plus a LOT more, but
most PC's have a paint program already that will do that stuff for free.

Now get a program called Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro. "FTP" = File Transfer Protocall", it is
just a program that grabs your files and puts them elsewhere on another box.
EASY to use basic commands. If you can navigate the files on your box w/
Windows Explorer you can FTP.

Now you need a domain like maybe www.jeepsinker.com from godaddy.
It is EASY and not real expense to get. You can now have an email like;
biggreenone@jeepsinker.com (or several email address's) .

Take pics>plug phone or camera into home PC>download pics to a file>
Open pics in paint program, resize, rotate, rename etc and save>
Open WS_FTP Pro and log into your www.jeepsinker.com server and upload the files you just saved>
(when you buy a domain from Godaddy ask them for your FTP Username and PW,)
now make a link to the pics you uploaded, so if you made a folder called "pictures"
on your server and if you took a picture and rotated it and resized it and
renamed it to truck.jpg the file name for others to see it would be

http://www.jeepsinker.com/pictures/truck.jpg (this link will not work here)

Now using the little buttons at the top of this screen you might highlight the
word TRUCK then click on the LINK button, enter http://www.jeepsinker.com/pictures/truck.jpg
and now the word TRUCK is a hyperlink, OR, click on INSERT IMAGE button
and do the same and place a picture in this post.

I can take a pic and have it online in minutes, once you do it one time
you will have it down.

You can upload to the SS server here I think but I prefer control over all my pics.

I would be happy to help you get up and going G man. It is not that hard.

Maybe I'll offer them $100 and see if they bite then. And I may be able to get it to you up there for free when I ship my Dad's deuce up there to him if you want it that bad. Idk if I really want to put any money into it.

Good little writeup. But this is why we ask for images to be uploaded. People decide to delete the images, domains expire, people just decide to end a webserver. As you mentioned, remote linked images will only display as links. But uploaded images here can be inserted inline.
