I think as long as you can lift it to put it in place, you do have a crane built in! you are good! I like modularity.

Originally, I was going to just mount the pintel on the front bumper as in the PS piece, but got waved off that idea since my friend said he saw too many front bumpers bent that way.

Having limited budget, a spare pintel, and wood, not metal or the tools to properly work it, I came up with this:

The bolts are now cut down, it's painted and blends in, is easy to mount one end/bolt at a time, and I don't think it'll allow the bumper to get bent.
