Front winch pic needed!!!

I need dims/90° pic of the drum clutch lever (18 ) - hinge plate, as the one on mine was missing, broken off at the hinge. Thanks.

Pic in -34-2 looks a little more than just a flat strip of steel...

This drawing might help some. Even if it wasn't exactly to scale, it shows the distance from mounting surface to hinge CL to be about 1-7/8" (+/- 1/16")

Here's a pic with the tab flipped over to let the lever engage. Looks like it starts out flat and then gets a twist.

US6x4, thanks - I think that and the location requirement for holding the clutch lever in it's detent position (when I get a new ball bearing - no comment!) will be all I need. Thanks.

So I got out the cardboard n tape... Appears that only one side of the hinge was used, not the full width.
Piece in background will be used.


Underside showing how small connection will be. (Didn't want to make full piece for male side of hinge, requiring new, riveted pin). Also detent holes.


Used gas to weld it - thought I'd go for a 'period' repair. It's what the wrecker carries, after all!


Installed, clutch lever in detent position "disengaged".


Lock flipped over to allow clutch lever to move to other detent position.

.... now to wait 'till spring to paint!

Yep, hard to see in the pictures with all the rust, but it has cracks forming on both sides of the narrow spot just above the hinge.
