Ft Polk Monument Vehicles display pics

May 12, 2009. Everything nicely maintained. Always in too big of a hurry to stop, but today was different. Linda and crew at GL Polk had me in and out in record time, they are a great bunch!

Vehicles are M59, M114, HD16, E8 Sherman, Hough loader, Long Tom, M75, War on terror memorial, dream goodie on the yard at DRMO, never to be had by us civilians . . .

Just switch the lables on that crate for some that say camo support poles. theyll never open the box anyways.

That used to be the 5th Infantry Division Memorial. How names change with unit moves. Next time you're at Ft Polk, check out the post museum. It's located behind the Post Theater. It's small, but has some more MV's located in a fenced area.
