Yep. I'm also researching that. It can't hurt to install new ones anyway. One less thing to break later.

I capped off the fuel lines for the fuel heater nozzle today. The end of the nozzle was wet with diesel so I think that may be my problem. I'll watch and see. I would prefer to not ruin the new oil either. Atleast I can filter it and put it in the fuel tank!
