Fuel pressure switch location - M35A2

I've searched through 5-6 different parts TM and have been unable to locate where the fuel pressure switch is located. This is the one that prevents starter engagement when engine running, . I'm hooking up my new harness and have wire #s 74A &B but nothing close to there location.

Is this an A3 truck?

No its an A2. Harness is supposed to be newer A2 with turn signal. I read somewhere it was there to prevent the starter from engaging after it was started. It's NC and opens the circuit to the starter relay once fuel press is established.
Wiring diagram shows it but labels wires 74A & 74R. But have noticed several discrepancies in the wiring diagram. The wires have 74A & 74B metal tags on them. They break out on the firewall next to the fuel filters.

Found where it is supposed to be but I don't have one. So I'll either add one or hook the wires together after I ring them out. To be fair this truck has had a lot of electrical mods done to it. 2 - 24v/12v converter , after market heater and defroster, dual tanks, battry ground disconnect, lots of LED lights. None of it done very...good. So now is the time to fix it all!

I too have been working on my wiring. I found this "Fuel Pressure Switch" on the schematic, but I wasn't able to locate it on my truck. I figured it was something to do with the fuel system (because of it's name), so I searched the entire fuel line, from the than to the injector. I never did find this switch or where it was supposed to be. Thank you so much for posting the extract from TM 9-2320-361-20. Once I know where to look, I went to my truck to see if I could find it. It is not present on the secondary fuel filter housing, so I guess I don't have this part.

The replacement harness that I purchased is not the same as the one in my truck as it doesn't have the integrated plug for the turn signals. I haven't searched the harness for wires 74A and 74B, which are supposed to go this switch. Now, I am wondering if I need to add this part, or if it was removed from the M35A2's later in their life. Is this part necessary? My truck seems to run fine without it, but....

Thoughts, anyone??

There is no such thing as what you're describing on an old Deuce, I can't think of a reason in a world why anyone would want or need it .

Not one time have I ever tried to start my deuce while It was running

I suppose a person could hit the starter switch with their knee, but I have never done it either. I wasn't sure if there was any other reason to have this part in my truck. I think I will delete this switch from the schematic that has been specifically tailored to my truck.

My starter is on the floor, hitting it with my knee would take a level of contortionism that I do not possess .

I am also installing a new wiring harness that has these two wires hanging. Once hooked up the starter button when pushed would not send any power to the starter. After investigating with a multi-meter power was not getting from the start switch to the starter. When I put a jumper wire between the two hanging wires the start button works and the starter will engage as normal. I can only guess there was some relay or pressure switch that was eliminated and these two wires can just be connected together to complete the circuit?
