POR-15 ( www.por15.com ) makes a great fuel tank seal kit. A little pricey, and for the size of the tank you may need more than 1 kit, but it really was made to seal a fuel cell.

Well, finally got time to complete this job. I ended up using Jasco Prep in the tank. Used about a quart and sloshed it around real well, coating all surfaces. Let it dry for a day or two, then sealed the pin hole with JB Weld.
After that, got a gallon of Red-Kote. Sloshed about 2.5 quarts of that around, I think I got all surfaces. Put the tank back on yesterday, filled it up with diesel today and so far no leaks. I think it's going to work real well.
