I don't see anything wrong with moddin a deuce or doing what you want with your truck...but if someone asks pros and cons i''m gonna tell the truth about it ...i'm not gonna lie to make anyone happy..These are trucks that were built for offroad first and the street second..If you are buying one to drive to the store you would never understand how nicely they do what they were made to do even in stock form. Each has very real pros and cons but lets keep it real about what they are..i'm not trying to argue with anyone .One of the questions was turning radius of the truck the op pointed out...And the fact is it would have a worse turning radius than a stock deuce because the wheel base is longer..As for who does offroad competitions ?Do a search there are alot of guys that do tractor pulls, mud bogs, mud drags ,run them at the drag strip, and even more that go to many of the offroad rallys that ss puts on ...Just a guess but i would think most guys bought a deuce to take them offroad at some point not to use just to take the kids to school ...

Solid points but everyone should be like me and have more than one so you can do it all.

P.S. I do take it to the grocery store and drop my kid off at school every chance that I get;)
