Ok, welll....
Stopped off foar coffee and saw my buddy with the duece. He popped over and jumped it (yeah, I could have done it with the itty bitty golf but I'm pretty sure the battery wouldn't have enough cranking amps to do the job). So, interesting things.
a. I think part of the problem was bad grounds combined with the neg on the front battery being packed full of dried and cruddy dielectric grease.
b. I never found anything particularly obvious. Just things that were questionable.
All that said, I'm in the green now and running! Thanks a bunch to everyone for the moral/technical support.
