Talk to silverstate55. Mine only have about 800 miles on them. (No issues yet)
No issues here, although I only have about the same mileage as 98G on mine as well. But it seems to me that Budd bevel is Budd bevel, as long as you keep them torqued there shouldn't be an issue. At least not with the old tire/wheel guys I've asked.

The budd bevel is a straight bevel and the nuts have a curve. Apparently it works fine, they certainly center the hole and the nut doesn't bottom out...so all is well.
