Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
If you dont mind me asking how much was your unit that you got from TNJ'S? did you quote the other parts suppliers while you were looking?TNJ murray, White owl, memphis equipment, saturn surplus, and boyce equipment are parts suppliers. One of these should have one. You can also go with an alternator upgrade from Wolverine technologies.
I put in a stock unit that I got from TNJ.
I have been calling everybody to see if they have a voltage regulator, no luck.. on the other hand I have decide to go with the wolverine tech. Upgrade kit! I hope it works out for me!I think it was about $450 shipped. Not cheap for sure. TNJ was the only one that had them on the shelf at the time. I decided to keep the truck stock instead of going with the alternator from wolverine. The alternator setup is or was about 1/2 as much. I would probably go with an alternator now if I had to do it again. The generator/regulator is very heavy and a real pain in the a$$ to change by yourself.
Alright will do man, I emailed the people at wolverine and they are behind on their work, so its gonna be awhile till i get my deuce up and running againLet us know what you think of it and how the install was.
That one is for a prestolite and mine is for a leece-neville they look alot different. ive called everyone it seems for a VR for that thing and i come up with nothing lol. Ive called Erik's also. They are very smart with MV!Erik's Mil Surplus has VR's also.
