Took the 1009 down some forest roads near my dads house. Lots of hunters out setting up camps. Just before I crossed this ford a motorhome came down the road but thought better of trying to cross.

Today we made 2 trips across the ridge to a pond down in the valley. All together about 14 miles on ATVS. Super good time. Its first time I've had the ATVS on icy watery trails since I left Ohio.

Played with some free flight powered planes with the boys today. They seemed to be attracted to the trees some 500 feet away! At quite an altitude too and in the thorns!
The boys also took a ride on granpop's tractor. We saw some green iron, well most of it was green!
Going to ride in to Athens tomorrow to eat at the Varsity and maybe see some Steel Soldiers members.

Sorry about breakfast Dave. Dad had reserved the trailer for a 10:30 pick up. I should have called you. Tell Deb "I hope she feels better".
Kenny I never got my trailer unloaded so decided to pick one up here.
I swung by Clinto's house after I grabbed the trailer and jaw jacked with him a bit. Then I took the boys to the Varsity for burgers and fries. Then came back to the folks and loaded in up in the drizzle. Rolling out in the morning early.

It was a lot of fun having Phil and the boys over, it gave me an excuse to chat and stop working on this stupid hydraulic head.
