They have been around for awhile. Mostly on powerline trucks. Built by a gentleman named Hans in New York.. different sizes run on different flow rates.

Most range in the 3k to 4k range. Picked this older unit up for $800 brand new on ebay. 6kw 300amp. 17gpm.

Each 120v plug is 36amp. They are independent and not together so you can't run 60amp off of one outlet. Etc. 36amp max. 220 plug is for 47 amps. Single phase.

Can jump off trucks if needed to. They make some with specific plugs etc for doing such.

Pretty small units. Around 30in long. 12in wide and 18in tall.

That's pretty cool. I just got a RR service truck with a hydraulic system on it, I might look into one of these. Probably lighter than a gas powered unit (truck is gas figured I would keep it the same, maybe even run a line from the trucks tank) and I could put quick disconnects on it so I just hook up the hose reel when I need power or to weld. I have seen hydraulic gens but not weld/gens.

120lbs or so for this one. Easy to mount somewhere.
