Have not bought it yet. trying to get my question answered before I buy one. When it happens, it will all happen fast. When I see the one I want, I'll bid!

Can someone answer some general questions?

Whats the the rate per mile, say 800 miles for an example? Are there any conditions that greatly effect the cost of transporting? Running vs not running?

Anything I need to know?

Oh, it coming to Dallas TX. (Just north of Dallas in Frisco)

Thanks.

Worse case scenario, figure $4.00 a loaded mile. If you work into someones route and they are empty, you may catch a deal but for planning purposes, factor in dedicated out of route shipping and you will still have some money in your pocket if you budget that way. If not running, that will up the price as most truckers do not have winches and you will have to hire a local wrecker company to load onto the trailer. In my experience, that normally adds about $300 so if you are splitting hairs on bidding between a runner and a non-runner, consider that and the fact that you would have to spend money to make the non-runner a runner at some point.
