Used the front pintle hitch on the Deuce today to make loading my old non-dropside bed onto Charles' (bede63) low bed trailer a lot easier. We jacked up the tongue of his trailer and dropped it onto the pintle. Pintle wouldn't close all the way so we chained it down. It's a CUCV pintle hitch, not one with a ball for the lower part, but it gave me an idea for an upgrade. His hitch ball socket is a 2 5/16" Put blocking under the back of the trailer to keep the front from wanting to pop up from the bed weight. Then we just hooked the winch cable to a chain bridle and hauled her on. Worked great.
