Thanks Mike! I may just try to fab those too. They look like sheet aluminum that is bent on a brake and then seam welded. I need to learn how to weld/braze aluminum anyway. The poles will be first though!

I'd add Green-Gator to that list. He sent me a hand crank for the legs on mine. Seems like the only thing I wind up giving away are CUCV keys but I suppose as the collection grows I can be more charitable.

The SF97 came Friday so I got all of my paperwork in order to title and register the MKT. I plan on registering it as a Former Military Vehicle, which in TX means $50.30 to register it for 5 years (it's a scheduled period so they pro-rate the tags meaning $20 through 2012). I get to the DMV and they decide since it's physical weight is over 4k pounds I have to have it inspected to verify the VIN. Now I get to fold it all back up and haul it to an inspection location so they can check 4 digits. Yeh! Really need a new Travel Cover since I'm down to only the left side of mine after pulling it from GL.

I'm actually jealous of the Richloam Rally guys. At least they're gettting to play with theirs. It's going to be back in the 20s here tomorrow night so I'm thinking I'll wait a while.
