Annual Ride For The Brave event – Conroe, Texas stop on July 22nd
Everyone is welcome to join us in Conroe, Texas on July 22, 2023 for the annual Ride For The Brave event.
Each July, the Save The Brave organization holds their annual cross country Ride For The Brave event, a motorcycle ride from California to Georgia, to connect veterans. There are stops and events in multiple cities along the way. We are excited that this year’s Houston-area stop will be at Honor Cafe in Conroe, Texas on July 22nd. Major Scott Huesing, USMC (Ret) and an Executive Director with Save The Brave, leads the annual Ride For The Brave event. Scott is a friend of mine and the author of Echo in Ramadi, which is a good read. More information on Save The Brave can be found at their website here:
Save The Brave
I am organizing a group of military truck owners and local military veteran motorcycle groups. Our plan is to meet the Ride For The Brave group at the northern end of Montgomery County, Texas for a police escorted ride to Honor Cafe. The military trucks will lead followed by the motorcycles. An afternoon of live music, great food and fellowship will follow at Honor Cafe.
We’ll meet at 11am on Saturday, July 22nd for the police escorted ride at a location off I-45 just north of Willis, Texas. The event at Honor Cafe will last from noon to 4pm. Everyone is welcome to join us on the ride or come directly to Honor Cafe between noon and 4pm to enjoy the band, good food and great company. Please let me know if any wants to join the ride with their MV or motorcycle and I’ll share more details.
