I know a few more people are planning on attending this year. I want to make sure I can make it. What is the date for Haspin?

I think summer is better - too many events going on around March to May timeframe. If it's June or July, that would be great for me.

Look in the videos and photo gallerys. It is a gathering of members to play with our trucks. Laural, Indiana. Great fun and better company.

My annual family vacation is Sat. June 28th. till Sat. July 5th. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, no Haspin during that time. Anything else is good.

Ditto on what Gimpy said. Haspin was/is THE original Steel Soldiers get together. 2008 will be the fourth year. In the past, we've had members coming from Wisconsin, Missouri, Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana (but strangely, none from Michigan, where are the wolverines?!?!?)

Even if you can't bring an MV, come anyway and hang out, . . . There are lots of empty seats!

I can tell you it gets HOT in the summer there. Last year was nice, the temperature wasn't sky high. Was close to aberdeen thou. Other 2 years it was hotter than heck.

I am guessing there is going to be another GA rally, which would be fall again?

Yes................ I've been to enough car shows to know I don't wanna do this stuff in the summer anymore. At the earliest, the Ga Rally will be in late September.

Is there decent wheelin for a deuce there? I'm picking up a deuce this weekend, maybe ill come out with some quads and dirtbikes as well. I've never been there but have seen pictures. Im camping near hatfield-mccoy the week of june 25th so i may not be able to make it

Rich, I picked up my wrecker in April. It had snow on it. How bout May? I know aberdeen is in May. We need some more input from people wanting to attend. Hookachain, The reason we use Haspin is cause they have trails for deuces. Bring what you want to have fun with! Jeff, your just sick, you are not going to die. I was kidding, I think.

I'm hoping to come again this year, and I might have a friend along... I wouldn't be able to make it if it includes july 15th like it used to, since that's my anniversary. Maybe Dennis will have his wrecker ready and we'll convoy out there...
