I may have to flat tow a non running Deuce. I am on my phone so searching is very hard. Do I need to put the transfer case in neutral and how do I do that if it's not running ? I has airshift. It needs to be towed about 100 miles. I forgot to look on here last night.

Thanks

I have towed mine several hundred miles with the transfer and transmission in neutral. If you don't have air then the transfer will not be in-gauged, but it would not matter with both in neutral. If the towing truck has air brakes then you can rig the duece to apply its brakes when the towing truck applies its brakes. They are threads on here to tell how to do that.
