Headlight issue

Chances of both headlights going out at the same time? I’ve put a tester on the wires and have low beam and high beam power on the wires. All connections are clean. I have the TM’s, just seeing if this has happened to anyone else.

Do you by chance have a 60A alt? if so check your battery voltage when running

Hello, I have a 200 amp dual voltage. Every other light works.

Would the removal of the night driving /blackout light cause this issue? The light was unintentionally removed. The wiring is still intact though.

Not likely, both high and low beams going out on both headlights would be extremely rare unless the voltage was way out of whack.
Did you test the voltage with the lights attached?

No, I have not. Where would I attach my multimeter to get an accurate reading?

You pierce the insulation of the wire with the voltmeter probe

What kind of headlights are they? if they are incandescent you can ohm them out, if blown then all terminals will read to infinity and beyond

Well then you can simply ohm them out, not sure what they should read but if they are blown you will get an open (infinity) to all the terminals.
