Yes I am Fred's wife. He died on Oct 29 of heart failure. His health slowly got worse after his stroke in July of 2010. He loved living in AZ and was grateful for all of the help that the members gave him when the duce broke down. He was going to the VA in AZ twice a week because of all of his problems. Thanks for the kind words and for allowing me to post on the site. Sorry I did not remember the old account name.
Deb,
I am very saddened to hear this. I am honored that I got to help you guys out and that we all got to meet. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do just let me know.

Deb,
On behalf of the SteelSoldiers' Chaplancy, as well as personally from Dianna and me, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Fred, and you, are a part of this brotherhood/sisterhood, and the bonds of this family are strong. Many of us are fellow veterans who know the code - Never leave a man (or woman) behind.
You mentioned selling the Deuce and Trailer for the money that is needed now. We pray that this sale will happen quickly and favorably for you.
In Christian love,
John & Dianna,
San Angelo, TX

STEELSOLDIERS:
When I awoke this morning, I had PM's and PayPal emails indicating that the Benevolence Fund is already receiving donations to assist with Deb's needs. Please see the LINK below in my signature block for the SS Benevolence Fund thread. Thank you DogHead for the initial heads-up and getting the ball rolling. Thank you, troops, for the donations already on the way.

Donations can be PayPal'd to: SSBenevolenceFund@SuddenLink.net

Thanks

Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers, they are so appreciated. Fred was a Navy Seal part of seal team 6 andvery proud of that fact. He was in Vietman after the war doing recon work (when we really were not there). He never could tell me what he all did over there but I know it changed his life after that. If anybody is from the AZ or NM area get in touch I would love to chat.

Pearce is a couple hours south of me, if you need help with pictures and going over the truck I'd be willing to help. I may be interested in the truck myself. Feel free to send me a private message.

Sorry to hear about your husband.

Bump for the evening crowd.

Fred's trip was a perfect example of what we can accomplish together here on SS. If you don't recall his trip, or haven't been a member that long, take a look at his threads.

Let's find a home for Fred's truck and trailer.

Also, if you can, please consider donating to the SS benevolent fund, in Fred's memory.

FYI:
Donations contiue to come in for Deb's assistance.
In lieu or flowers, the funds collected will be forwarded directly to Deb on behalf of the SS Family. She is adjusting financially and working three parttime jobs trying to make ends meet. Any monetary help will be appreciated.
Thank you all for coming to Deb's aid with expressions of your condolences and support.

THANKS!!! I can not begin to thank all of you for the generous donation that you have collected for me. I am using to offset some of the burial costs. Also I have sold the duce to seldmonseenslim from this site. Turns out he lives about 40 miles from me. I know the duce has found a good home. Again thanks for all of your help and support during this difficult. I hope to continue coming on the site to say hi and see how you all are doing. Thanks again and GOD BLESS!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Deb

I just lost my dad Cpl Gary Hoefler First Cav in November of this year. Helping my mom deal with dad's passing. This is a very difficult thing for a woman loosing her husband-support in terms of helping and monetary is a big deal. I wish to donate money from my credit card-SS is capable of collecting 15 bucks off credit card for premium membership-maybe SS could set up a way to collect and distribute credit card money for Deb.
Advise.
