Hi everyone. I'm a new member and an old truck enthusiast. I am restoring an HMMWV to original condition (not modifying it). I bought it from a private seller, and would like to know a little bit about the history of the truck. Is there a way to find out the unit the truck was last with? I saw some old threads that provided truck specific history by providing the serial and reg numbers, but those threads have since long expired. Many thanks.

not anymore, the system we used is gone and the new system is very different and limited. Best bet now is research like older ones have, light very attentive sanding to see if bumper numbers can be recovered.
