hello guys, i am new here. hope all of you are doing well. i wanted to ask if any of you know who manufactured the magnesium insert for the 16.5" HMMWV rims.

I believe the 3 part ones are aluminum, not magnesium.

The earliest version was a 2 piece magnesium run flat. General consensus on these is to scrap them out or use them (small pieces only) as fire starter material.

The magnesium run flat was used with the 8 bolt wheels. Neither has been used by the military for decades.
