HMMWV Shocks FAT around 450,000+ cycles...

The shocks that Wolfer/ComTac supplies, are approved by DLA/TACOM via a First Article Test (FAT) as per the PID. Being tested under the supervision of a US government inspector (QAR) and has undergone many Prime Vendor reviews… ALL outperforming required specifications. Furthermore, Wolfer/ComTac has been the prime supplier of the same shocks to the M1101/M1102 Trailer manufactures to DLA/TACOM for more than 10 years. With over 150,000 each sold CONUS and OCONUS… we have a defect rate of 0.00002 that is out standing in the industry.

Wolfer/ComTac does supply some NOS product (New Surplus) and we make every effort to describe it prior to selling to our customers.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Be assured Wolfer/ComTac will continually strive to earn your confidence.

That’s pretty awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Would you happen to know what country they are made in? I was looking at a belt tensioner from you guys but it was out of stock.

Congratulations on the durability test results. Nice to see a vendor post that up.

Do you offer any variations in valving and/or length? What type of bumpstop do you use, or does this shock have a higher-compression valved zone to prevent bottom out? For my application, I find the OEM shocks to be too firm and offer too little travel. Just curious if any of your shocks might offer a nice bolt in solution for a recreational wheeler such as myself.

Thanks!
