it's time to replace hoses on the m35. i was reading some previous posts to get some info. i have all parts to do the job ,looking for some do's and don'ts of hose changing.do valve covers have to come off to change water manifold gaskets ? how easily do bolts come out of eater manifolds without breaking ?

Use some type of rust getter and give them a little tap tap with a ballpeen. Of course, this is no guarantee they won't break! BTW, they are 2.25 inches long. I'd get a few spares before you take it apart
