How do remove the dash bulbs

I think they do know blue does not affect your night vision. The "armor dome lights" that I have in my shelter have blue lenses in them.

when you unscrew the covers it shoud like something like this. there are a couple of different dash apnels but the lights are the same on the dueces. the lights are push and turn.

they make a yellow LED's LED Miniature 24-28 Volt AC/DC T3-1/4 BA9s Base / Yellow: Light Bulbs Etc, Inc. then all you need is clear covers.

Thanks. Yep, i changed the gauges about 2 years ago and the LED bulbs about a month ago. post "My M109a3 going 100% LED"

Blue is the preferred choice when using NVG.

I just changed my bulbs out and used some headlight restore. I think the standard bulbs look good. Not as bright as those LED's.

i just put the LED's in and on my M109a3. my two M35a2's still have the regular bulbs and i am happy with that $$$$$.

A fellow MV owner offered up a unique tool to solve the problem:
Panel Bulb Removal Device Part No. NSN 93-210070-456/R (rev B.)
I have not used one, but it's worth a try, Saturn Surplus, or Erik's maybe?

To get the bulbs out you can try an appriate size piece of rubber fuel line or tubing to push and turn.

Those leds look great!
