Anyways, little late to the thread, but, I had an air cut off installed because Deuces can runaway. To reset it, you had to open one of the side engine flaps and know where to reset switch was. Easy enough, once you knew, really hard (maybe impossible to almost anyone) to find otherwise.

The seat below is what I used to have, the chain would loop around the steering wheel with a padlock.


I decided on putting container locks on the doors:



They're designed such that you can't pull out or push that pin in unless you have the key. I also plan on putting shutters on the windows. Have a few ideas about that, still a work in progress.

I got them a few years ago, they're from an Israeli company and mostly used in Europe. I found them for a pretty good price on Evilbay. All the lock suppliers in the US want like $250 for them. Search for either "mul-t-lock hasp lock" or "mul-t-lock hasp lock diamond"

I found the best way to "secure" my m35 is to reach behind the RED start button and move the plug off the start button.

What about a "Truck Club"? I have one just for extra confidence. Just a thought. Unless someone cuts the steering wheel off, no way it can be driven.

Just installed a Schlag deadbolt in the drivers side door on my 5 Ton. Lock's flush with the door, just have to paint it green. Shiny brass looks weird...

I would get something industrial and remove whatever is on it to keep it from tarnishing. Then let it tarnish. Being exterior it might tarnish green or brown.

Not to rain on the parade, but a tubular lock is easier to pick than most other locks - other than a Masterlock. Also, if there is easy access to the wires behind it, it's not really doing anything.

That being said, it'll stop 99.9% of the people that are looking for a quick joyride. I think the stick will do more to stop them than anything else, though.. .hah!
