Howdy from Western PA

Decided to sign up for the site after having some exposure to a couple of old M939 five tons this year (hence my username ). Came here to learn more about those old rigs, which are currently in use at a place called Steeltown Paintball; both trucks were in use during a Halloween event called the Pittsburgh Zombie Outbreak (basically each truck is an m927 with seats in the back, and 12 paintball markers mounted on the right side). Fell in love with their simplicity and ease of operation, even for a civilian like me.

I think i've caught the bug, so expect me to be asking tons of questions about surplus MV's

Is that what it's called? I figured it was just me being a typical gearhead

I can't say i've never thought about it, had a chance to own an old Jeep at one point that was allegedly a WW2 model, but it was so rotted away you couldn't tell what it was. Plus, the whole alternative fuel thing appeals to me, and the M35 already comes with a multifuel engine
