NY Humvee Insurance in NY

Geico is "not insuring" my Humvee at this time, what insurance does? I am in NYC.

I don't know specifically in NY but Progressive and Hagerty and in my case State Farm (in Florida) will insure your Humvee under "AM General Humvee", I would give it a shot w/ these guys

Yep. Pull out the phone book and look in the yellow pages.
Call everybody and you will come up with somebody for sure...

If you don't have a phone book, maybe a google will help you.

I spoke with Hagerty and they are making excuses also. Right now, the truck is not insured. Thinking of selling... - any recommendations where.

Register it in NY as "Historic" and get it insured through JC Taylor insurance. My 2 CUCVs cost me a total of $340 a year with the combined vehicle values of $17,000. Go to - jctaylor.com to get a quote. Keep in mind, you are supposed to only drive it to car shows and parades and it's kept in an enclosed garage. Once insured you can drive it as you want.

I found Hagerty had the best deal and have had them for a year. Stay away with anything to do with Geico. Last year they attempted to double my premium for nothing on my part. My cars are now with Progressive.
