In case it helps anyone having a similar issue, I jacked up the front wheels and performed the bleeding procedure, with the reservoir cap off, and with the engine running. It made a bit of a mess, but fixed it. Despite doing the bleeding process twice with the engine off, there must have had still air in it.

In case it helps anyone having a similar issue, I jacked up the front wheels and performed the bleeding procedure, with the reservoir cap off, and with the engine running. I had to bleed mine the same way. Left the cap off, filled to overflow, turn the wheels back and forth a few times, then refill, turn it on, turn the wheels, and put the cap on and called it good.

You have to at some point start the engine during the bleeding process
